DJI Ronin Briefcase Handle for RS Gimbals

The DJI Ronin Briefcase Handle attaches to RS 3 Pro, RS 3, RS 2 and RSC 2 gimbals via the NATO port. It provides a secondary grip for low-angle shooting and extended handheld operation. The built-in cold shoe and 1/4"-20 thread allow direct mounting of monitors or accessories. It is intended for solo operators who need stable, comfortable control during long takes.

NATO port mounting limits tool-free setup

The handle locks onto the gimbal's NATO rail without extra tools, but it only works on gimbals that expose that specific port. Older Ronin-S models without a NATO interface cannot accept this handle. The cold shoe and 1/4"-20 threads follow standard dimensions, so third-party accessories that match those specs will fit. No electronic communication passes through the mount.

Verify that your gimbal is an RS 3 Pro, RS 3, RS 2 or RSC 2 before ordering, as other models lack the required NATO port. Ensure the handle's 7.55 x 1.57 x 2.51 inch folded profile clears your case or bag. Confirm that any external monitor you plan to mount uses a standard cold shoe or 1/4"-20 thread and does not exceed the handle's load capacity.
