What the Kit Adds to Your Gimbal

The DJI Tracking Kit equips Osmo Mobile 7, 7P and 8 Series gimbals with a magnetic multifunctional module. It brings subject tracking for people, cats and dogs, an adjustable fill light and a receiver for DJI Mic transmitters. The clamp weighs approximately 28g and fits phones 0.27 to 0.39 inches thick and 2.64 to 3.31 inches wide.

Tracking, Light and Audio in One Module

The module snaps on magnetically and enables gesture control for solo shooting. Its fill light offers eight brightness levels and eight colour-temperature settings via a side wheel. Pair it with a DJI Mic 3, Mic Mini or Mic 2 transmitter to record clear audio while the gimbal follows your chosen subject steadily.

Check Phone Size and Mic Compatibility

Verify your smartphone falls within the stated thickness and width range before ordering. The audio function requires a compatible DJI Mic transmitter, which is not included. The kit works only with the Osmo Mobile 7, 7P and 8 Series gimbals.

Questions about this item

Will the magnetic phone clamp or multifunctional module wear out and need replacing?

The magnetic phone clamp weighs 28 g and fits phones 0.27 to 0.39 in thick and 2.64 to 3.31 in wide; both parts attach magnetically with no moving mechanisms, so there is no scheduled replacement interval.

What stops the fill light from running indefinitely during a long shoot?

The fill light offers eight brightness levels and eight colour-temperature settings adjusted by a side wheel; its runtime is limited by the gimbal's internal battery, which powers the module.

Does the module get hot or make noise when tracking pets all day?

The OM Multifunctional Module has no fan and no moving parts; it draws power from the gimbal and operates silently, so heat and noise remain negligible during extended use.
