Molded Foam Coccyx Cushion

The DMi Molded Foam Coccyx Seat Cushion is a high-density foam pillow designed to reduce pressure on the tailbone, hips and lower back. Its all-purpose shape promotes better posture while sitting on hard surfaces at home, in the office or in a vehicle. A breathable mesh cover and non-slip bottom add comfort and stability during extended use.

Who This Suits

This cushion suits anyone who experiences tailbone or sciatica discomfort during long periods of sitting and wants a portable, washable support option. It is not intended for buyers who need a heated or actively cooled seat surface, or those who require a full backrest support system rather than a seat pad alone.

Capacity And Headroom

Measuring 17.25 x 14 x 2.75 inches, the cushion fits most standard chairs and car seats while providing enough thickness to relieve pressure on hard surfaces. The molded foam retains its shape for daily use, though users seeking a thicker profile or a larger seating area may find the dimensions limiting for wider chairs.

Questions about this item

What chair dimensions suit the 17.25 x 14 inch cushion?

Any seat at least 17.25 inches wide and 14 inches deep accommodates the cushion; the 2.75 inch thickness adds height, so check armrest clearance.

Does the non-slip bottom grip leather car seats?

The non-slip base is designed to stay put on fabric, leather and vinyl, keeping the cushion stable during driving.

How do I confirm the foam is relieving tailbone pressure?

After sitting, you should feel weight shift off the coccyx onto the thighs with no hard spots under the cut-out area.
