DNBeffulgent F-238 Ultrasonic Dog Training Aid 16.4 ft Brown

Ultrasonic Bark Control Range

The DNBeffulgent F-238 is a handheld ultrasonic deterrent designed to stop excessive barking and correct unwanted behaviours such as digging or fighting. It emits a 25 kHz tone audible to dogs but silent to humans, making it suitable for all breeds and sizes. The device operates effectively up to 16.4 ft indoors or outdoors.

Simple Handheld Operation

The unit fits comfortably in the hand and includes an adjustable anti-static wrist strap for security during walks. Operation requires no special skills; simply press and hold the button to activate the ultrasonic sound and release it when the dog stops the behaviour. A built-in LED indicates operational status and low battery, while four replaceable AAA batteries power the device.

Training Consistency Required

Ultrasonic correction works best when paired with verbal commands and positive reinforcement like treats or praise. The manufacturer notes that a conditioned reflex typically develops within 3 to 10 days of consistent, patient use. Results vary by the dog's breed, age, and hearing sensitivity, and the device is not effective for deaf dogs or those unresponsive to ultrasonic frequencies.
