Cooling method and fan size

This DNBeffulgent K1-5V RGB pad uses a single 5.5 inch turbofan with sealed foam to deliver 360-degree surrounding air cooling. Fan speed is infinitely variable from 0 to 2800 RPM and an LCD panel shows the current speed in real time. Ten RGB light modes are controlled by touch buttons on the unit.

Compatibility and connections

The pad supports laptops from 15.6 to 19.3 inches and provides one USB-C input for the host plus four USB-A ports for peripherals. At maximum speed the fan can reach 65 dB so consider your noise tolerance before ordering. Dimensions are 7.5946 by 32.893 by 43.7896 centimetres.

Who it suits and who it does not

Gamers, designers and video editors who need adjustable height and extra USB ports will benefit from the eight stand positions and hub layout. Buyers who require silent operation at full load or a smaller footprint for ultraportable notebooks should look at other solutions.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the K1-5V RGB and do I need to buy any cables separately?

The package includes the cooling pad with its built-in 5.5 inch turbofan, LCD control panel and 10 RGB light modes. Connect it to your laptop using the supplied USB-C cable; the four USB-A ports then let you plug in peripherals without extra adapters.

Which version of the K1-5V RGB should I choose for a 15.6 to 19.3 inch laptop?

There is only one model — the K1-5V RGB — and it supports laptops from 15.6 up to 19.3 inches. The eight height settings let you level any size in that range, so you simply pick the angle that feels most comfortable.

What does the 2800 RPM top speed mean for actual temperatures and noise on my laptop?

At 2800 RPM the turbofan delivers maximum airflow through the sealed foam seal for 360-degree cooling, but the manufacturer notes noise can reach 65 dB at that setting. Lower speeds reduce noise while still moving air, so you can balance thermals against sound for office work or gaming.
