DC-UG78-10 BNC Male Coupler Pack

The Dolphin Components DC-UG78-10 is a pack of ten BNC male couplers designed for coaxial video connections. Each connector features a twist-on installation method for quick termination without specialised crimping tools. The nickel-plated finish provides corrosion resistance for reliable signal transmission. These couplers are RoHS compliant and rated for plenum-rated cable installations.

Suits RG-59 and RG-62 coaxial cable runs

Installers working with RG-59 or RG-62 coaxial cable up to 4 GHz and 75 ohm impedance will find these couplers match the specification. The male gender and BNC interface suit standard video distribution hardware. Buyers needing female connectors, crimp-style termination, or compatibility with other coaxial cable types should consider different products.

Twist-on installation for tool-free termination

The defining specification is the twist-on installation method, which allows field termination without a crimp tool or compression tool. This makes the coupler practical for on-site repairs or temporary test connections where tool access is limited. Verify that the cable jacket and dielectric dimensions suit a twist-on design before purchase.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the pack of 10 BNC couplers or look for a different quantity?

The product is sold as a pack of 10 BNC male couplers, so this is the only quantity available for this model.

What does the 4 GHz maximum frequency mean when the coupler is installed in a video system?

The 4 GHz rating indicates the coupler can pass video signals up to that frequency, supporting standard analogue and many digital video formats over RG-59 or RG-62 cable.

How does the BNC twist-on interface and 75 ohm impedance limit the cables I can use?

The twist-on BNC male connector fits RG-59 and RG-62 coaxial cables rated for 75 ohm impedance, and the nickel-plated finish resists corrosion in plenum-rated installations.
