Smart deadbolt for residential doors

This electronic deadbolt replaces a standard keyed lock on a residential door. It uses a concealed keyway and a zinc-alloy body to resist physical attack. Four remote controls operate the lock from inside the home. The system suits homeowners, landlords and small hotels wanting keyless entry without wiring.

Check door thickness and battery plan

Verify that the door thickness matches the 130 x 75 x 37 mm lock body and that the external mounting plate can sit flush. The lock runs on four AA 1.5 V cells plus one 23 A 12 V backup cell; confirm you can access the battery compartment after installation. Operating range is rated at 10 to 30 m, so test remote positions before final mounting.

Fits standard door prep and frees up key management

The lock mounts on existing cylindrical deadbolt cut-outs with the supplied base plate, requiring no new mortise. Removing the exposed keyhole eliminates lock-picking points and lost-key callbacks. Remote controls can be placed at bedside, kitchen or hallway locations, letting occupants unlock from anywhere inside the 10 to 30 m range.
