130-Lumen Aluminium Flashlight

The Dorcy 41-4280 is a compact aluminium-alloy flashlight that delivers 130 lumens from a single LED. It runs for three hours on the three included AAA cells and projects a beam up to 130 metres. A twistable focus ring lets the user adjust the spot from wide flood to narrow throw. An O-ring seal provides moisture and dust resistance for outdoor use.

Everyday carry and emergency use

The light suits walkers, campers and household emergency kits needing a weather-resistant beam with simple one-handed operation. The strobe function adds a signalling option for roadside or rescue situations. Buyers who need more than three hours of continuous runtime or a rechargeable power source should consider other models. The fixed three-AAA format also limits output compared with larger battery platforms.

Twist-focus beam adjustment

The optic focusing ring is the single specification that determines whether this flashlight matches the task. It allows instant transition between area lighting and a 426-foot reach without tools or mode cycling. If a fixed beam or slide-focus mechanism is preferred, this design will not fit the requirement. The aluminium body and tail-cap switch complete a durable, single-handed package.

Questions about this item

How wide is the barrel so I know if it fits my holster?

The barrel measures 1 inch wide and 5.25 inches long, so check your holster against those dimensions.

How do I change the beam from spot to flood without breaking the focus ring?

Twist the control ring on the head gently; forcing it past the stops can strip the threads and lose focus adjustment.

When will I need to replace the three AAA cells that came with it?

Expect about three hours of continuous run time before the included AAA batteries need swapping for fresh ones.
