Questions about this item

Will the 9 LED lantern's 50-lumen beam interfere with older incandescent lanterns I still use?

The 50-lumen output from 9 LEDs provides a focused beam that operates independently; it does not emit RF or magnetic fields that would affect older lanterns.

How can I verify the 9 LED lantern is working correctly after inserting the 4 AA batteries?

Press the handle-mounted push-button switch; the 9 super-bright 5MM LEDs should produce a steady, long-distance focused beam of 50 lumens immediately.

What comes in the box with the Dorcy TRV122038 and what must I purchase separately?

The lantern includes 4 AA alkaline batteries installed; no separate purchase is required for initial operation. Colours are assorted and cannot be chosen.
