Gas Flow Valve Kit for Low-Pressure Lines

This DORMONT kit provides a 24-inch stainless steel conduit with a 3/8-inch outside diameter. It is rated for a maximum working pressure of .5 psi at 70 degrees Fahrenheit. The assembly suits gas-flow applications that require the listed ANSI and CSA certifications.

304 Stainless Steel Hose with FNPT Fitting

The hose tube and both end fittings are made from 304 stainless steel for corrosion resistance. One end carries an FNPT thread that mates with a matching male pipe fitting. The kit operates across a temperature range of -40 to 350 degrees Fahrenheit without additional protection.

Certified to Multiple ANSI and CSA Standards

The valve kit meets ANSI Z 21.15, 21.18, 21.24, 21.41, 21.69 and 21.90 along with ANSI/UL 567 and CSA 6.16, 6.24, 6.9 and 6.3. Builders needing higher pressure ratings or different thread types must source a separate assembly.

Questions about this item

What pressure limit appears first when this valve runs continuously?

The maximum working pressure is 0.5 psi at 70 °F, so that ceiling is reached before any higher-pressure condition.

How hot does the hose get and what noise or power draw should I expect during all-day operation?

The assembly is rated from -40 °F to 350 °F with no moving parts, so it adds no audible noise and draws no electrical power.

Which gas-thread connection must already be on my supply line for the FNPT fitting to seal?

The kit ends in a 304 stainless-steel FNPT fitting, so the mating male NPT thread must be present on the existing pipe.
