What you get in the Brine Edition

The Brine Edition bundles the base game Abyssus with four cosmetic packs: Brinehunter, Brineguard, Brinefrost and Brinerot. Each pack adds themed helmets, suits, frames, dances and emotes so up to four players can customise their look while exploring the sunken ruins. The package is delivered as a Steam code for PC, ready to activate on a new or existing account.

Steam account required for activation

A Steam account is the single requirement that decides whether this code works for you; the game cannot be installed or launched without one. Minimum Windows specifications call for a 64-bit OS, Windows 10, an Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600X processor and 1600 MB of memory. If your system falls below those figures the title will not run.

Light digital delivery

Because the product is a downloadable code there is no physical media, no disc drive activity and no additional power draw beyond the normal operation of your PC while the game runs. Thermals and fan noise depend entirely on your hardware and the in-game settings you choose, not on the delivery method itself.

Questions about this item

Does the Intel Core i7-8700K minimum processor requirement mean the game runs well on that CPU in a real PC?

The i7-8700K is listed as the minimum 64-bit processor needed to launch the game on Windows 10; actual frame rates will depend on the rest of your system and in-game settings.

What does the Steam DRM requirement cap in practice for this downloadable code?

The Steam DRM ties the licence to a single Steam account, so the code can only be activated once and the game cannot be transferred or run without the Steam client online.

What physical space or hardware does the downloadable PC version need to install?

No disc drive or physical media is required; you need a Windows 10 64-bit PC, a Steam account, and enough free SSD or HDD space for the game files.
