Versatile desk lamp for home office

The Dott Arts DL-701 desk lamp delivers adjustable LED lighting with five colour modes and three brightness levels, suited to reading, writing, crafting or late-night work. A foldable arm rotates 230° and the base tilts 90° so the light can be directed precisely where it is needed. Touch control on the base makes mode changes quick and intuitive.

USB A and C ports add device charging

Integrated 5V 2.1A USB-A and USB-C ports let you charge phones, tablets or e-readers directly from the lamp, keeping cables tidy and devices within reach. A built-in night light emits a soft warm glow for bedside use without disturbing sleep. The matte black rectangular finish fits unobtrusively on desks or shelves.

Simple setup with folding constraints

The lamp ships with its power adapter and requires only a mains socket; no software or pairing is involved. Its 14.92 by 4.45 by 1.85 inch folded footprint saves space, though the fixed arm length limits reach across very wide surfaces. Buyers needing extended horizontal throw or wireless charging should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the LED panel in the DL-701 need replacing after long daily use?

The lamp uses an 8-watt surface LED source rated for long life; no user-replaceable bulb is fitted, so the whole unit would be swapped if output ever degrades.

What limits continuous operation — heat from the 8 W LEDs or the 5 V 2.1 A USB ports?

The 8-watt LED array runs cool enough for all-day use, while the USB A and C ports share a 2.1-amp limit that will throttle charging before the lamp overheats.

How much heat or fan noise does the DL-701 produce when left on overnight with the night light?

There is no fan; the matte-finish arm and base stay barely warm even with the night light running all night, and the lamp is completely silent.
