Adjustable LED Desk Lamp

The Dott Arts DL-701-W is a foldable LED table lamp with a 230° flexible arm and 90° base axis for directing light where needed. Touch controls on the base cycle through five colour modes and three brightness levels for reading, work or craft tasks. A small integrated night light provides a warm glow for bedside use. USB-A and USB-C ports supply 5V/2.1A charging for phones or tablets.

USB Charging Limits

The two USB ports share a combined 5V/2.1A output, so charging a phone and tablet together will be slower than using dedicated adapters. No data transfer or fast-charge protocols are supported, only basic power delivery. The lamp itself must remain plugged into mains power for the ports to function. Users needing higher wattage or multiple simultaneous fast charges should use a separate charger.

Foldable Build and Touch Base

The rectangular plastic shade and painted finish keep the unit light enough to move between desk, shelf or bag. Touch-sensitive controls mean no mechanical switch to wear out, though the surface can activate accidentally if brushed. The 230° arm and 90° base joint allow compact storage but rely on friction hinges that may loosen with frequent repositioning. E26 socket base is listed but the lamp uses an integrated LED array.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the version with 2.1A USB charging or a lower output?

The lamp supplies 5V at 2.1A through both USB-A and USB-C ports, so phones, tablets and e-readers charge at the same rate from either connector.

What does the 230° arm and 90° base rotation actually give me on a desk?

You can swing the arm through 230° and tilt the base 90°, letting you direct light exactly where you need it and fold the lamp flat for storage.

How does the E26 socket work with the built-in LED light source?

The fixture uses an integrated LED array, so the E26 base is only for mounting; there is no separate bulb to replace.
