Douglas Jamie Octopus 13 Inch Plush

The Douglas Jamie Octopus is a 13 inch lavender plush toy with frosted tips and eight periwinkle velvet tentacles. It uses resilient polyester fill that keeps its shape through extended play. Designed in Keene, New Hampshire and sewn in Vietnam by a maker with over 60 years of experience. Machine washable and rated for ages 24 months and up.

Suitable For Gentle Play And Display

This plush suits children over two years old and collectors who want a soft, decorative octopus with a soothing texture. It is not for buyers who need a toy with sound, light or electronic features. It is not for rough outdoor play or for infants under 24 months due to safety rating. It is not for anyone requiring a larger size than 13 inches.

Measures 13 Inches Tall And Machine Washable

The toy stands 13 inches or 33 centimetres tall, a size that fits on shelves or in a child's arms. The construction uses high quality polyester fill that resists clumping after repeated washing. Machine washable care makes it practical for everyday use. This single measurement and care method determine whether the plush fits the intended space and cleaning routine.

Questions about this item

Does the 13-inch Jamie Octopus need any extra parts to be ready for play?

No, the plush arrives fully assembled with its eight velvet-textured tentacles and resilient polyester fill already inside.

Can the lavender plush with periwinkle-blue tentacles be displayed alongside older stuffed animals without colour transfer?

Yes, the high-quality fabrics are colourfast and machine washable, so they will not bleed onto neighbouring toys.

How can I confirm the 13-inch octopus is holding its shape after the first wash?

After a gentle machine wash and air dry, the polyester fill should spring back evenly and the tentacles should remain twisty and upright.
