Larry Leaf Bug plush for quiet play

Larry the Leaf Bug is an 8" plush toy shaped like a leaf insect with soft green textures. Designed in Keene, New Hampshire by Douglas Cuddle Toys, it brings a calm, nature-inspired presence to imaginative play or quiet cuddling. Suitable for children over 24 months, it is surface washable for easy care.

Check age suitability and cleaning needs

This plush is rated safe for ages over 24 months, so confirm the recipient meets that minimum. Only surface washing is recommended, so buyers needing machine-washable toys should look elsewhere. No batteries, assembly or electronic components are involved.

Upgrades basic stuffed animals with character detail

Larry replaces generic bug or animal plushes by adding a specific leaf-mimic design and a gentle backstory that encourages observational play. The jump is worth it when a gift calls for a distinctive, soothing companion rather than a standard shape, and when the 60-year maker heritage matters to the buyer.
