Ideal Gift for Dog Lovers

The Douglas Toys Yonkers Yorkie is an 8-inch plush Yorkshire Terrier designed for children and collectors who want a realistic, huggable companion. Its unisex appeal makes it suitable for any child seeking a soft, lifelike pet alternative without the responsibility of a live animal.

Mixed-Fur Texture for Realism

The toy combines soft short fur with ultra-cuddly long fur to replicate the distinctive coat of a Yorkshire Terrier. This material contrast enhances the tactile experience and visual authenticity, delivering the realistic puppy hugs described in the design intent.

Ready to Play Immediately

No assembly, batteries, or setup are required; the plush is ready for use straight from the packaging. The only common issue is that the long-fur sections may arrive flattened from shipping and require gentle brushing to restore their full volume.

Questions about this item

Will the 8-inch plush Yorkie need restuffing or seam repair after regular hugging?

The toy uses polyester fibre fill and stitched seams designed for everyday cuddling; no scheduled restuffing is required.

What is the first limit you hit if a child carries the 8-inch Yorkie everywhere for weeks?

Surface fibres may mat first; a gentle brush restores the short and long fur texture.

Does the 8-inch plush dog get warm or make noise when left in a sunny window all day?

The polyester fabric and fill stay at room temperature and produce no sound during passive display.
