Downy Fabric Softener Dispenser Ball 3 Pack

The Downy PG-3018B is a set of three dispenser balls designed for use in traditional top-loading washing machines. Each ball holds liquid fabric softener and releases it automatically during the rinse cycle. This pack suits households that prefer a simple, no-measure method for adding softener to every load. The unscented design works with any brand of liquid softener.

Automatic Rinse Cycle Release

The ball's internal mechanism opens at the correct moment in the wash cycle, dispensing softener without user intervention. This removes the need to wait for the rinse cycle or manually pour liquid into the drum. The durable plastic shell withstands repeated agitation in standard washers. It simplifies laundry routines by eliminating the guesswork of timing and measuring each dose.

Designed for Non-HE Machines Only

These dispenser balls are engineered specifically for traditional agitator washers and are not compatible with high-efficiency front-load or top-load models. HE machines use lower water levels and different cycle timing that prevent the ball from opening correctly. Buyers with high-efficiency appliances cannot use this accessory and should seek HE-compatible dispensing alternatives. The three-pack format provides a long-term supply for standard machine owners.
