Scale and subject

This 1/72 scale plastic model depicts the German StuG III Ausf. G early production variant with side skirts as fielded by the Totenkopf division at Kursk in 1943. It is a limited-edition collectible aimed at adult hobbyists and military-history enthusiasts who value accurate, display-ready replicas.

Detail and display limits

The kit arrives in the manufacturer’s original unopened box and includes a protective plastic showcase. Pad-printed markings resist fading or peeling, and the turret rotates for dynamic posing. The model has no opening hatches or interior detail, so builders seeking full interior access or motorisation will need a different subject.

Handling and preservation

As a pre-assembled, non-motorised display piece it draws no power, generates no heat and makes no noise. The enclosed showcase shields the finish from dust and handling, keeping the pad-printed surfaces pristine for long-term shelf display.

Questions about this item

Will the 1/72 scale StuG III Ausf. G fit alongside my other 1/72 armour on the same shelf?

Yes, at 3.75 inches long with the cannon and 1.5 inches wide it matches standard 1/72 scale vehicles for consistent display.

How can I confirm the rotating turret on this NEO Dragon Armor model works correctly after unboxing?

Gently turn the turret by hand; it should rotate smoothly without resistance, confirming the mechanism works as designed.

Does the box include a display case or do I need to buy one separately for this limited edition StuG III?

The model comes in a plastic display showcase included in the box, so no separate purchase is needed.
