Dreamcolor Acrylic Interior LED Kit

This kit adds ambient lighting to a car or truck cabin using six acrylic strips. It draws power from a 12V vehicle supply and is controlled by a wireless app or a hidden touch button. The strips are designed for interior gaps and are rated as low-heat and waterproof.

Replaces single-source fibre optic kits

Older fibre optic systems often rely on one light source, which can create uneven brightness. This kit uses individual LEDs in each strip for a more uniform glow. The upgrade is worth it when you want smoother colour transitions and music-synchronised effects without a separate controller box.

Plug-and-play installation with adhesive backing

The strips press into door gaps, under dashboards and along footwells. A common issue is routing the wiring to the 12V supply without pinching cables in moving trim panels. The touch button must stay accessible, so avoid covering it with carpet or mats.

Questions about this item

What length strips are included for fitting in footwells and door panels?

The kit contains six acrylic strips: one 10 inch piece, four 30 inch pieces and one 35 inch piece for interior gaps.

How is the 12 V power connected and which step is often missed?

Plug the supplied adapter into the vehicle 12 V socket, then pair the app before hiding the control box; skipping pairing leaves the strips unresponsive.

When should the acrylic strips be cleaned to keep light output even?

Wipe the acrylic lenses with a soft dry cloth whenever dust builds up; the sealed strips have no user‑serviceable parts.
