DreamSky Wooden Alarm Clock

This DreamSky digital alarm clock shows time, date, day of week and indoor temperature on a large 7.1 in wooden display. It sits on a nightstand or desk at 1.5 in deep by 2.9 in high and runs from mains power with two AAA batteries keeping settings during a power cut. The finish is black with date and day readouts.

Brightness and Volume for Light Sleepers

The 0-100% dimmable display goes from completely dark to very bright, suiting bedrooms where any glow is unwanted. Alarm volume adjusts from 30 to 90 dB and a top-mounted snooze button adds nine minutes of extra rest. Buyers who want a projection display, wireless charging or smartphone app control should look elsewhere.

USB Charging and Auto DST Convenience

A built-in USB port charges a phone or small device overnight without occupying another wall outlet. Auto DST shifts the clock automatically so no manual resetting is needed twice a year. The clock handles one charging cable and basic timekeeping; it does not support multi-device fast charging or smart-home integration.

Questions about this item

Does the clock need a mains outlet to run, or can it operate on the two AAA batteries alone?

It runs on mains power through the supplied cord; the two AAA batteries are only for keeping the time and alarm settings during a power cut.

Will the auto daylight-saving feature still adjust correctly if I keep the clock plugged in but the batteries go flat?

Yes, the auto DST function works from the mains supply; the batteries only protect the stored settings when the power is interrupted.

How can I confirm the USB charging port is delivering power after I plug the clock in?

Connect a phone or other USB device — if it begins charging, the port is active.
