Product identity

The DreamSky DS305B is a mains-powered digital alarm clock with a 4.3 inch LCD screen that shows time, date and indoor temperature in blue digits. It is intended for bedroom bedside use where automatic time setting and adjustable brightness are wanted.

Setup check

Verify that a standard North American wall outlet is available near the bedside, because the unit ships with a DC adapter for mains power. Confirm that the backup button cell battery is fitted if you want time and alarm settings retained during a power cut, though the display will remain off on battery alone.

Build context

The clock occupies 5.25 in x 1.8 in x 3.1 in on a nightstand and includes one spare USB port for charging a phone or tablet, freeing a separate wall charger. Auto DST and four selectable US time zones remove the need for manual seasonal adjustments, while the dimmable screen prevents unwanted light at night.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the DreamSky DS305B and what must I buy separately?

The box contains the clock, a DC power adapter and a button cell backup battery. The USB charging cable for your phone or tablet is not included.

Which version of the DS305B should I choose for a US bedroom?

The DS305B is a single model with four selectable US time zones (EST, CST, MST, PST) and automatic DST, so no separate version is needed.

What does the 4.3 inch LCD screen mean for everyday use?

The 4.3 inch display shows large blue digits that are easy to read at a glance, and the 0‑100% dimmer lets you lower the brightness completely for sleeping.
