Large 8.5 inch display for clear visibility

The DreamSky DS306 digital clock features an 8.5 inch black case with bold red LED digits measuring three inches high. The large illuminated numbers remain easy to read from across a room, making the clock suitable for seniors or anyone with impaired vision who needs a clear time display.

Adjustable brightness

A continuous dimmer wheel sets the display from zero to 100 percent brightness so the screen never feels too harsh at night or too faint in daylight. The single alarm offers a volume range of 30 to 90 decibels with a nine minute snooze function, while a simple on/off switch disables the alarm for weekends without losing the stored time.

Mains powered with battery backup and USB charging

The clock runs from the included DC adapter and uses two AAA batteries, not supplied, to preserve time and alarm settings during a power cut. When operating on backup power alone the display blanks and the alarm will not sound. A built-in USB port provides convenient charging for a smartphone or similar device without needing an extra wall outlet.

Questions about this item

Will the 8.5 in display stay visible if I keep an older bedside lamp plugged into the same outlet?

Yes, the clock runs from its own included DC adapter and only uses 2 x AAA batteries to remember settings during a power cut; the display stays on while mains power is present.

How can I confirm the 30-90 dB alarm is set correctly after I program it?

Toggle the alarm ON/OFF button to arm it, then press the snooze button briefly — the alarm will sound at the chosen volume so you can verify the level.

Does the box include the 2 x AAA batteries needed for backup, or must I buy them separately?

The package supplies the clock and DC adapter only; 2 x AAA batteries for memory backup are not included and must be purchased separately.
