DreamSky DS312 Digital Clock 5.3 in Black RGB Digits

What this clock does and who uses it

The DreamSky DS312 is a compact digital alarm clock with a 5.3 inch case and 2 inch RGB LED digits. It suits bedrooms, kids' rooms or living areas where a clear, colour-adjustable time display is wanted. The simple button layout makes it easy for children, seniors or anyone who prefers straightforward operation. A USB port on the back lets you charge a phone or small device without an extra wall adapter.

The spec that decides fit

The clock runs only from the included DC adapter with a 59 inch USB cord; it is not battery operated. Two AAA batteries (not supplied) keep the time and alarm settings during a power cut, but the display stays blank and the alarm will not sound on battery power alone. If you need a clock that stays fully lit and audible without mains power, this model will not meet that need.

Heat, noise and power in use

The unit draws low power from the supplied adapter and produces no audible fan noise. The LED brightness dimmer wheel adjusts from 0 to 100 percent so the display can be dimmed completely for dark rooms. Alarm volume is adjustable from 30 to 90 dB with a 9 minute snooze function. Normal operation stays cool and silent on a bedside table.
