Drill America 21/32in 1/2in Reduced Shank Cobalt Silver and Deming Drill Bit pneumatic accessory

Drill Bit Size and Shank

This Drill America cobalt drill bit has a 21/32 inch cutting diameter with a decimal equivalent of .6563. The reduced 1/2 inch shank fits standard drill chucks while the bronze oxide surface treatment protects the cobalt steel flutes. Overall length measures 6 inches with a 3 inch flute length for deeper holes.

Machinists Needing Large Holes in Hard Metal

The cobalt construction handles stainless steel and other tough alloys that dull standard high-speed steel bits quickly. Buyers who only drill wood, plastic or soft aluminium will not see the longevity benefit and should choose a less expensive bit. Workshops without a 1/2 inch capacity chuck cannot use this reduced-shank design.
