Drill America nACo Blue cutter

The Drill America ANC5-530-269 is an nACo Nano-Composite coated annular cutter designed for magnetic drill presses. It targets metalworkers who need fast, efficient hole making in steel, cast iron, heated steel and stainless steel. The 3/4" Weldon shank fits most magnetic drill presses, also called mag drills. This accessory is not for users without a magnetic drill press.

3/4" Weldon shank installation

Installation requires inserting the 3/4" Weldon shank into a compatible magnetic drill press chuck and securing the included pilot pin. The tool is for use with magnetic drill presses only; do not use with a standard hand drill or drill press. A common error is attempting to run the cutter in a conventional drill press or hand drill, which will not provide the required rigidity or coolant control.

Annular cutting practical limits

The nACo coating increases tool life up to 30% compared to traditional HSS annular cutters and provides extra protection against wear and high heat. The cutter removes only the necessary material, which speeds the cut and reduces power demand.
