Drill America nACo annular cutter

This 1-5/16 inch by 3 inch annular cutter uses nACo nano-composite blue coating to extend tool life up to 30 percent versus traditional high-speed steel cutters. The m2 high-speed steel body cuts only the necessary material for fast, efficient holes in steel, cast iron, heated and stainless steels. A 3/4 inch Weldon shank fits most magnetic drill presses, also called mag drills. The tool is designed for magnetic drill press use only and must not be used with a standard hand drill or drill press.

Coated high-speed steel with pilot pin

The nACo coating adds protection against wear and high heat so the cutter handles difficult alloys without premature dulling. Cutting depth is limited to the 3 inch length, so thicker plates require a different tool. The bundled pilot pin aligns the cutter and ejects the slug, removing the need to source a separate centering accessory.

Magnetic drill press compatibility only

The 3/4 inch Weldon shank locks directly into magnetic drill presses, making the cutter ready for shop or field work on structural steel. It will not fit a standard drill chuck or a conventional drill press, so buyers without a mag drill cannot use this accessory. The pilot pin is included in the package.
