1-9/16" nACo Coated Annular Cutter

This Drill America ANC5-530-360 annular cutter features a 1-9/16" diameter and 3" depth of cut. The nACo Nano-Composite Blue coating increases tool life up to 30% compared to traditional HSS annular cutters. It is designed for magnetic drill presses only and cuts difficult materials including steel, cast iron, heated and stainless steels. M2 High Speed Steel construction cuts only necessary material for fast, efficient hole making.

Verify Magnetic Drill Press

This accessory fits most magnetic drill presses with a 3/4" Weldon shank. Do not use with a standard hand drill or drill press. Ensure your magnetic drill press accepts this shank type before ordering. The cutter comes with a pilot pin required for operation. Check California Proposition 65 warnings regarding chemicals known to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.

Replaces Standard HSS Annular Cutters in Demanding

Upgrade from uncoated high-speed steel cutters when machining difficult alloys such as stainless steel or heated steel where heat and wear reduce tool life. The nACo coating provides extra protection against high heat and wear, making the jump worthwhile for frequent cutting in tough metals. This cutter is not for general-purpose drilling in soft materials or portable hand-held applications.
