13/16 inch HSS annular cutter with pilot pin for magnetic drill presses, cutting only the material needed for a clean hole
This Drill America HSS annular cutter measures 13/16 inch in diameter with a 1 inch depth of cut. It features a 3/4 inch Weldon shank designed specifically for magnetic drill presses. The high-speed steel construction provides hardness and toughness for general-purpose wear resistance. A pilot pin is included with the cutter.
This cutter suits users with magnetic drill presses who need to produce quality holes efficiently by cutting only the necessary material. It is not for operators using standard hand drills or conventional drill presses because the Weldon shank is incompatible. Buyers requiring different hole diameters or cutting depths must select another size. The Proposition 65 warning indicates chemical exposure risks.
The 3/4 inch Weldon shank is the single specification that determines whether this cutter fits your equipment. It locks into magnetic drill presses that accept this shank standard. If your machine uses a different shank interface the cutter will not mount. Verify your press compatibility before purchase.

Align the cutter's 3/4" Weldon shank flat with the chuck set screw, insert fully until it seats, then tighten the set screw firmly against the flat; the common error is tightening on the round portion, which lets the cutter slip under load.
Replace or resharpen when the cutter produces rough holes, requires excessive feed pressure, or shows visible flank wear on the 13/16" diameter edges; high-speed steel offers good toughness but wears faster than carbide in abrasive alloys.
The 1" depth of cut is the hard limit; the cutter cannot plunge deeper than its 1" flute length, so sustained use in thicker material requires step drilling or a longer cutter.
