Drill America 5-Piece Metric Set

This Drill America set supplies five high-speed-steel twist bits in 14.00 mm, 15.00 mm, 16.00 mm, 17.00 mm and 18.00 mm diameters. Each bit has a 1/2" reduced shank so it fits a standard portable drill chuck. The 118° conventional point and black-oxide surface treatment give reliable performance in iron and steel. The bits come organised in a transparent plastic pouch case.

Capacity 14 mm to 18 mm in steel

The range covers common production and maintenance hole sizes from 14 mm through 18 mm in ferrous materials. Reduced shanks let a 1/2" chuck accept these larger diameters without a specialty holder. The 118° point handles general-purpose drilling but is not optimised for hard alloys or high-speed production runs. Users needing diameters above 18 mm or non-ferrous material performance will need additional tooling.

Plastic pouch case included

The transparent pouch keeps the five bits together and visible on a bench or in a tool bag. No lubricants, sharpening guides or alternative point styles are supplied. The case protects the black-oxide finish during storage but offers no moisture sealing. Buyers who want indexed storage, coolant accessories or coated variants must source them separately.
