Corrugated PE Tubing 1/4 in 3200 ft

This black polyethylene conduit arrives in a 3,200 foot coil with a 1/4 inch nominal size. The fine-profile corrugation gives an inside diameter of 0.24 to 0.27 in and an outside diameter of 0.37 to 0.40 in. Wall thickness ranges from 0.01 to 0.07 in. It is designed for cable management and conduit applications.

Upgrade from basic loom or tape

The split corrugated design lets you insert cables without threading, saving time on long runs. Chemical resistance and a temperature range of -40 to 185 °F suit environments where simple spiral wrap or electrical tape would degrade. Abrasion resistance is rated good for industrial routing.

Fits standard 1/4 in cable bundles

The tubing accepts wire bundles that sit within the 0.24 to 0.27 in internal clearance. Black polyethylene blends into dark cabinets and outdoor trays. RoHS, REACH and NAFTA compliance removes regulatory friction for commercial installs. Self-extinguishing rating is not claimed, so verify local fire codes before specifying in plenum spaces.

Questions about this item

What size cable bundles will fit inside the 0.24 to 0.27 in inside diameter?

Bundles up to roughly 0.27 in diameter will fit; the tubing stretches slightly but the nominal 1/4 in size is fixed.

How do you route cables through the split corrugated wall without snagging?

Open the split along its length, lay cables in the channel, then press the edges together; forcing cables through the slit sideways tears the thin 0.01 to 0.07 in wall.

When should the tubing be replaced if it sees 185 °F heat regularly?

Polyethylene softens near 185 °F; inspect annually and replace once the corrugations flatten or the split no longer closes tightly.
