The magnets only hold on steel — what if my case panels are aluminium?

The back of each strip uses sintered NdFeB magnets that require a ferromagnetic surface; on aluminium or plastic you must add magnetic tape or screw-on brackets.

If one of the 18 LEDs on a strip fails, can I replace just that LED?
