What this reader does
The DSRKE D01G is a dual-port card reader with USB-A and USB-C connectors. It accepts SD, SDHC, SDXC, microSD, microSDHC and microSDXC cards in two independent slots. The device works with Windows 11, 10, 8, 7 and Vista, plus macOS 10.2 or later. No driver installation is required for any supported system.
Dual-slot benefit
Both card slots operate at the same time, so you can copy files between an SD card and a microSD card without swapping media. Each port supports the USB 3.0 protocol with a maximum read speed of 104 MB/s. The reader is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 hosts. An aluminium shell helps dissipate heat during long transfers.
Who should buy
Photographers, videographers and mobile users who need to offload two cards at once will save time with the parallel slots. The compact size fits in a camera bag or pocket. Buyers who only ever use a single card type, or who need a reader for CFexpress or other unsupported formats, should look at a different model.

Questions about this item
Will the USB-A or USB-C port wear out first from repeated insertion?
Both ports follow the USB 3.0 standard rated for thousands of mating cycles; normal daily use will not reach that limit for years.
What limits sustained transfer speed when reading two cards at once?
The USB 3.0 bus caps combined throughput at 5 Gbps, so simultaneous SD and microSD reads share that 104 MB/s ceiling.
Does the aluminium shell get hot during all-day transfers?
The metal housing spreads heat; it may feel warm during long sessions but stays within normal operating temperature.
