Standalone tower copies 11 SATA or IDE drives at once and sanitises 12 with DoD 7-pass, 120 MB/s transfer and 1536 MB buffer
The DupliM 140101 copies one source drive to eleven targets simultaneously and can sanitize twelve drives at once. It operates as a standalone tower, so no host computer is required during duplication or wiping. The unit accepts 2.5 and 3.5 inch SATA drives plus 3.5 inch IDE drives, with optional adapters for 2.5 inch IDE media. Maximum supported capacity exceeds 8TB per drive.
The duplicator runs on mains power and uses internal cooling fans to manage heat during extended copy or sanitize sessions. Transfer rates reach 120 MB/s per channel, keeping overall power draw steady while the 1536 MB buffer smooths data flow across all active ports. Noise levels remain consistent with typical office equipment during sustained workloads.
A tower chassis provides vertical drive bays that simplify loading and unloading without tools. SATA and IDE connectors are keyed to prevent misalignment, and the front-panel interface displays progress for each port independently. The standalone design means deployment only requires a power outlet and the drives themselves.

Insert the source SATA or IDE drive into the top slot and up to 11 target drives into the lower bays, then press the copy button; the step often missed is confirming every target shows ready before starting.
The SATA and IDE drive connectors and the cooling fans are the components most likely to wear out during repeated high-volume duplication cycles.
The 1536 MB buffer fills first, causing the duplicator to throttle the transfer rate until the buffer clears.
