Ready-to-use AAA power kit

The package pairs a Powerex C980 smart charger with sixteen Duracell AAA NiMH cells rated at 900 mAh each. The batteries arrive pre-charged and can be recharged up to four hundred times. The charger handles one to eight cells per session across eight independent slots. It suits households or workshops that cycle through many AAA devices.

Check your cells and mains voltage

Confirm that every cell you intend to charge is a NiMH or NiCd AAA or AA type; other chemistries are not supported. The charger accepts AC 100-240 V at 50-60 Hz, so it works on mains supplies worldwide without a separate adapter. Each of the eight slots operates independently, letting you mix capacities or states of charge in the same session.

Thermals noise and power draw

The unit runs from a 100-240 V supply and offers selectable turbo mode at 2.0 A for AA or 1.0 A for AAA, plus a default mode at 1.0 A for AA and 0.5 A for AAA. Turbo mode replenishes cells in about sixty minutes while default mode takes roughly one hundred twenty minutes. A ninth-generation MH-NM7108 microprocessor manages termination to limit heat buildup during charging.
