24-pack AAA NiMH batteries

The pack contains 24 AAA cells with 900 mAh capacity and 1.2 V nominal voltage. They are supplied on six cards of four for easy storage and distribution. The NiMH chemistry allows repeated recharging in compatible chargers. Suitable for households and offices that use many low-drain devices.

Low self-discharge and steady output

NiMH cells maintain a stable 1.2 V through most of their discharge cycle, reducing voltage sag in remotes, clocks and toys. Self-discharge is low enough to keep useful charge after months in a drawer. No heat or noise is produced during normal use. Not suited for equipment that requires 1.5 V primary cells or higher capacity per cell.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 24 Duracell DX2400 AAA NiMH 900 mAh 1.2 Volt cells so they work straight away?

Insert each cell matching the plus and minus marks inside the device; the flat negative end goes against the spring. Charge fully before first use because new NiMH packs ship partially discharged.

What maintenance or replacement will the 24 Duracell DX2400 AAA NiMH 900 mAh 1.2 Volt cells need later?

Recharge after every use and avoid leaving them empty for weeks. Expect several hundred cycles; replace when run-time drops noticeably or cells no longer hold a full charge.
