Charger and eight AA batteries

The Powerex MH-C801D charger ships with eight Duracell DX1500 AA cells rated at 2500 mAh. It suits households, photographers and anyone who runs multiple AA devices and wants a single charger for all of them.

Charging slots and common issues

The unit charges up to eight AA or AAA cells at 2000 mA per slot and operates on 100-240 VAC at 50 or 60 Hz. Its independent channels prevent over-charge, though deeply discharged cells may need a longer initial cycle before they reach full capacity.

Check your devices and power source

Verify that your equipment accepts 1.2 V NiMH cells, as some high-drain gear expects 1.5 V alkalines. Ensure a standard mains socket is available for the AC input, and confirm you have space for the eight-bay desktop footprint.
