DURACELL MH-C801D charger with 8 AAA 900 mAh and 8 AA 2500 mAh batteries

Complete charging kit

The Duracell MH-C801D package includes a Powerex eight-cell charger plus eight AAA cells rated at 900 mAh and eight AA cells rated at 2500 mAh. All batteries are nickel-metal hydride with a nominal 1.2 Volt output and arrive pre-charged for immediate use. The bundle suits households or offices that need a ready supply of both common sizes.

Capacity and cycle life

Each AA cell stores 2500 mAh while each AAA stores 900 mAh, giving useful runtime for high-drain devices such as flashlights or toys and lower-drain items like remote controls. The chemistry is rated for up to 400 recharge cycles with no memory effect, so partial top-ups do not reduce total capacity. Heavy daily use will exhaust the cells faster than occasional use.

Thermal and power behaviour

The charger accepts 100-240 VAC at 50 or 60 Hz and draws up to 1200 mA from the mains. During charging it delivers 2000 mA at 18 V DC to the cells and a maintenance trickle of 100 mA at 20 V DC. The unit runs from a standard wall outlet without an external power brick and operates silently with no moving parts.
