Multi-function thermometer for home and trade

The DURFICST infrared gun measures surface temperature from minus 58 to 1472 degrees Fahrenheit, ambient temperature from 14 to 140 degrees, and relative humidity from zero to 99 percent RH. A high-sensitivity sensor returns all three readings within 0.5 seconds while the trigger is held. The tool suits cooks, HVAC technicians and engine mechanics who need quick, non-contact data.

Sustained scanning with adjustable emissivity

Holding the trigger produces a continuous stream of real-time values rather than a single snapshot, so users can track temperature changes across a grill, oven or engine bay. Emissivity adjusts from 0.1 to 1.0 against a 0.95 default, letting the operator match different surface materials for better accuracy. Shiny metals can be covered with opaque tape and measured once the tape reaches equilibrium.

Twelve-point laser aiming and backlit display

A twelve-point positioning laser with a red ring auxiliary light defines the measurement spot, and the 12:1 distance-to-spot ratio allows safe readings from further away. The laser can be switched off when not required. A colour backlight keeps the readout visible in dim workshops or bright kitchens, and the unit ships new in each selling unit.

Questions about this item

Does the thermometer gun stay cool and quiet during long sessions?

The unit is a handheld infrared thermometer with no fan or moving parts, so it generates no audible noise and negligible heat during continuous use.

What do I need to supply myself before I can start measuring?

The gun requires a standard 9 V battery, which is not included, and optionally opaque tape for accurate readings on shiny metal surfaces.

Will the 12:1 distance-to-spot ratio work with the older ovens and engines I already service?

Yes, the 12:1 ratio lets you stand farther back while still targeting small areas on ovens, engines, grills and similar equipment.
