12 V NiMH Pack with 5000 mAh Capacity

This 12-volt nickel-metal-hydride battery pack stores 5000 mAh or 60 Wh across ten C cells in a 5-by-2 arrangement. It suits portable devices that need a 12 V DC source such as walking robots, photography lighting or video equipment. The pack weighs 2.2 lb and measures 5.25 by 2 by 2 inches.

Tamiya Connectors and Built-in Thermostat

Verify that your device accepts a male standard Tamiya plug on 16 AWG leads for discharge and a mini Tamiya plug on 18 AWG leads for charging. The charging lead includes a 65 °C thermostat wired to the pack to guard against over-charging. Confirm the polarity and voltage match before connecting.

Replaces NiCd Packs for Longer Runtime

The pack doubles the run time of a comparable nickel-cadmium pack while delivering up to 10 A peak discharge and accepting a 5 A fast charge. It is not suited for applications that demand higher voltage, greater capacity or a different connector standard.
