The DUSLAN charger handles one to sixteen AA or AAA NiMH and NiCD cells simultaneously and can also charge one or two 9 V NiMH or NiCD batteries. Each bay is monitored by an intelligent microprocessor that applies negative delta V cut-off, reverse-polarity protection and a safety timer to prevent over-charging. Eighteen individual LCD indicators show real-time status for every cell. The bundle includes sixteen pre-charged AccuLoop-X AA batteries rated at 2600 mAh each.

Sustained charging behaviour

Under continuous load the charger delivers 500 mA to each of the sixteen AA channels and 250 mA to each AAA channel from a 12 V 2.0 A DC supply, while the two 9 V channels operate at 8.4 V with a 100-10 mA taper. Short-circuit protection and defective-cell identification remain active throughout the cycle, so a full complement of cells charges without thermal throttling or early termination. The universal 100-240 V AC adapter powers the unit without region-specific hardware.
