Sixteen C-size NiMH cells in a cardboard tray

DUSLAN

DUSLAN 16-Pack C 5000mAh NiMH Standard Battery

SKU CH-ET9X-8HQRC

Sixteen pre-charged 1.2 V NiMH C cells deliver 5000 mAh each, retain 85 % charge after a year and recharge up to 1000 times

  • 16-pack delivers long-lasting power with 5000 mAh NiMH cells
  • Ready to use out of the box with 85% charge retained after one year
  • Rechargeable up to 1000 cycles for significant savings over alkalines
  • No memory effect ensures reliable capacity through repeated use
  • 2 V standard voltage fits any device that takes C batteries

16-Pack C NiMH 5000mAh

This 16-pack supplies C-size nickel-metal hydride cells rated at 5000 mAh and 1.2 V. They suit households and workplaces that run torches, toys, radios, medical devices or other gear designed for standard C batteries. The cells arrive pre-charged and ready for immediate use.

Low self-discharge and cycle life

The chemistry holds roughly 85 % of its charge after a year in storage, so spares stay ready without frequent top-ups. Rated for up to 1000 recharge cycles, the pack delivers high discharge rates with no memory effect, keeping power draw steady and heat low during normal operation.

Replaces disposable C cells

Each cell can be swapped into any product that takes a C battery, cutting the recurring cost and waste of single-use alkalines. The jump is worthwhile for devices that see regular or high-drain use, while occasional low-drain items may not recoup the investment as quickly.

Questions about this item

How do I install these C-size NiMH batteries, and what step do people often get wrong?

Insert each battery matching the + and - marks inside the device; the common mistake is reversing one cell, which prevents the device from powering on.

What maintenance or replacement will these 5000 mAh NiMH cells need over time?

They are rated for up to 1000 recharge cycles; after that capacity drops and the pack should be recycled and replaced.

What limit appears first during sustained high-drain use of these 1.2 V C batteries?

Voltage sag under heavy load is the first limit; the cells maintain 85% charge after a year in storage, but continuous high discharge reduces run-time per cycle.
