What this battery pack powers

The DUSLAN 18.5 V lithium-ion pack delivers 2600 mAh capacity built from five 18650 cells. It suits projects that need a compact 18.5 V source with integrated protection circuitry.

Thermals noise and power behaviour

The pack weighs 241 g and measures 92 mm by 71 mm by 25 mm. A 7 A polyswitch limits peak discharge to 7 A and continuous draw to 5.2 A while guarding against reverse polarity.

The spec that decides fit

Working voltage is 18.5 V with a 21 V peak and 12.5 V cut-off; charging current must not exceed 2 A. The PCB prevents over-charge, over-discharge, over-current and short circuits, and the unit has passed UN 38.3 for transport safety.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the 18 G wire leads and what polarity mistake do people make?

Solder or crimp the leads to your device matching the marked polarity; the built-in 7 A polyswitch blocks current if you reverse the connections, preventing damage.

What part of this pack will need replacement first and how will I know?

The five 18650 cells degrade after many cycles; you will notice run-time dropping well below the rated 2600 mAh or the voltage sagging under load.

At what sustained current does the protection trip during heavy use?

The polyswitch limits continuous draw to 5.2 A; exceeding that for more than a short burst cuts power until the load is removed.
