Product Identity

This 24-pack supplies AA nickel-metal-hydride cells rated at 800 mAh and 1.2 V with spot-welded tabs on both ends. They suit hobbyists and technicians building or repairing battery packs for cordless phones, remote controls, toys or custom electronics.

Pre-Purchase Checks

Verify that your device accepts tabbed AA cells rather than standard button-top or flat-top versions. Confirm the charging circuit is designed for NiMH chemistry and can handle the 800 mAh capacity without over-current. Ensure physical clearance exists for the welded tabs in the battery compartment.

Sustained Load Behaviour

The cells deliver a steady 1.2 V through most of the discharge cycle and are rated for up to 1000 recharge cycles with no memory effect. They replace lower-capacity packs such as 300, 400, 450, 500, 600 and 700 mAh types while maintaining reliable service life under continuous use.

Questions about this item

What is included in the 24-pack and do I need to buy a charger separately?

The pack contains 24 AA NiMH cells with spot-welded tabs on both ends; a compatible NiMH charger is not included and must be purchased separately.

How do I decide between the 800 mAh cells and the lower-capacity versions listed?

The 800 mAh cells store more energy than the 300 mAh, 400 mAh, 450 mAh, 500 mAh, 600 mAh or 700 mAh alternatives, giving longer run-time per charge in the same device.

What does the 1.2 V rating mean when I put these batteries in my device?

Each cell delivers 1.2 V, which is the standard voltage for NiMH AA batteries and directly replaces alkaline AA cells in any product that uses them.
