7.2 V NiCd packs for RC racers

Two 2100 mAh stick packs use six Sub-C cells in a flat 2 x 3 layout with a standard Tamiya connector. They measure 135 mm long, 45 mm wide and 25 mm high, weighing 336 g each. Designed for Associated, HPI, LOSI, Traxxas, Tamiya, Kyosho and other standard 7.2 V cars.

Replaces tired NiCd or NiMH stick packs

The bundled smart charger handles 4.8 V to 10.8 V packs and lets you select 1 A or 2 A output manually. A 2100 mAh pack charges in about one hour at 2 A, while a 3000 mAh pack needs 1.5 hours and a 4500 mAh pack 2.25 hours. The jump is worth it when your current packs no longer hold a full race-length charge.

Charger limited to NiCd and NiMH chemistries

It will not charge lithium-based packs. Automatic voltage detection, short-circuit protection, reverse-polarity protection and delta-V cutoff stop the charge when the pack is full. The unit accepts 120 V to 240 V AC input and includes both a Tamiya plug and charging clips for versatile connection.
