8-Pack AA NiMH 800 mAh for Soldered Installations

This pack contains eight AA nickel-metal hydride cells rated at 800 mAh and 1.2 volts. Each cell features spot-welded tabs on both ends for direct soldering into battery packs or devices without spring contacts. They suit technicians and hobbyists who build or repair custom battery assemblies. The chemistry avoids memory effect and supports up to 1000 recharge cycles.

Capacity Limits and Replacement Range

At 800 mAh these cells store less energy than higher-capacity AA NiMH types, so runtime in high-drain devices will be shorter. They can replace older AA NiMH cells rated at 300, 400, 450, 500, 600 or 700 mAh, but they are not a direct substitute for alkaline primaries in applications that rely on a 1.5 volt starting voltage. The tabbed design also prevents use in standard spring-loaded battery compartments.
