  • Battery typeBatteries & Chargers
  • Charges 2 or 4 AA/AAA cells simultaneously
  • 120V–240V 50/60Hz input with car and USB cords included
  • Negative delta-V cut-off and safety timer prevent overcharging
  • 8 AAA NiMH 1200 mAh 1.2V cells rated for 1000 recharge cycles
  • LED red/green shows charging status and full-charge indication

Ready-to-use AAA set

The pack supplies eight AAA NiMH cells rated at 1200 mAh and a matching BC-0903 charger. The cells deliver 1.2 V each and are specified for up to 1000 recharge cycles with no memory effect. They suit any device that takes standard AAA batteries. Households wanting a single purchase for remotes, toys and wireless peripherals will find the quantity convenient.

Car and USB cords expand charging options

A 12 V car cord lets the charger run from a vehicle socket while a USB cord enables power from a computer or USB adapter. The charger accepts 120 V to 240 V mains input at 50 or 60 Hz and automatically selects 900 mA for AA or 500 mA for AAA cells. It charges two or four batteries at once and supports both NiMH and NiCd chemistries.

Microprocessor control adds multiple safeguards

Negative delta-V detection stops the charge when cells are full, while a safety timer guards against overcharge. Over-current, short-circuit and reverse-polarity protection are built in, and the unit rejects defective or non-rechargeable batteries. Red and green LEDs show charging status, and a trickle current keeps topped-up cells ready while they sit in the bays.

Questions about this item

How many recharge cycles can the included 1200 mAh AAA NiMH cells handle before they need replacing?

The supplied AAA cells are rated for up to 1000 charge cycles, so replacement depends on how often you fully discharge and recharge them.

What limits how many AA or AAA batteries can charge at once on the BC-0903?

The charger accepts two or four cells at a time in either AA or AAA size, and each bay is monitored independently by the microprocessor.

Does the BC-0903 get noisy or hot when left plugged in all day with batteries inside?

It uses a trickle-charge mode to hold cells at full charge without overcharging, and the only indicators are red and green LEDs — no fan or audible alert.
