Six cylindrical C-size lithium batteries in a row

DUSLAN

DUSLAN C LS26500 3.6V 9000mAh lithium primary battery 6-pack

SKU CH-VCXE-T6Y86

Six 3.6 V C-size lithium-thionyl chloride cells deliver 9000 mAh each with a 10-year shelf life and operation from -55 °C to +85 °C

  • 9000 mAh capacity powers devices longer
  • 6 V nominal voltage matches C-size requirements
  • Lithium thionyl chloride chemistry delivers high energy density
  • Low self-discharge under 1% per year enables 10-year shelf life
  • Wide operating range from -55 °C to +85 °C suits extreme environments

Six-pack 3.6 V lithium-thionyl chloride C cells

This six-pack supplies 3.6 V C-size primary lithium-thionyl chloride cells, each rated at 9000 mAh nominal capacity. They are suited for equipment that demands very long shelf life and stable voltage in remote or unattended installations.

Sustained output limited to 200 mA continuous

The chemistry delivers a nominal 3.6 V at 1 mA and can maintain 200 mA continuously, with short pulses typically up to 400 mA. Voltage remains steady during prolonged low-current discharge, but the cells are not designed for high-drain loads.

Direct drop-in for C-size holders with polarity care

Each cell measures 26.2 mm diameter by 50.5 mm height and weighs 55 g, fitting standard C-size holders. The hermetic glass-to-metal seal and non-flammable electrolyte improve safety, yet the 3.6 V output is far above alkaline 1.5 V, so they must only replace 3.6 V lithium primaries — never alkaline or rechargeable cells.

Questions about this item

How much heat does a 3.6V 9000mAh Li-SOCl2 cell generate during continuous 200mA discharge?

The chemistry runs at up to +85C operating temperature; self-discharge stays below 1% per year at +68F, so heat rise during normal 200mA continuous draw is minimal.

What holder or device contacts accept the 26.2mm diameter by 50.5mm height C-size cells?

Any C-size battery compartment with spring or flat contacts spaced for 26.2mm diameter and 50.5mm length will accept these hermetically sealed cells.

Will the 3.66V open-circuit voltage damage legacy 3.6V nominal meter or alarm circuits?

Open-circuit voltage is 3.66V at +20C; nominal voltage under 1mA load is 3.6V, matching the spec of the LS26500, TL-4920 and XL-140F replacements listed.
