Purpose-built 6 V alkaline cell

The DUSLAN DL-19 is a 6 Volt alkaline battery rated at 2450 mAh. It is designed as a direct replacement for the Saflok Style “M” cells used in keyless hotel door locks and IC card access systems. Facility managers and maintenance teams can install it in guest-room locks, smart-card readers and digital deadbolts without adapter kits. It is not suited for devices that require rechargeable chemistry or higher voltage packs.

Leak-resistant construction and snap-in fit

The cylindrical housing uses a high-performance alkaline formula sealed to resist leakage during long service intervals. Polarity markings and the standard Style “M” footprint let technicians swap cells in seconds while the lock remains mounted on the door. No soldering, wiring harnesses or proprietary connectors are involved. The cell will not fit equipment that expects a different form factor such as AA or 9 V platforms.

Stable voltage until depletion

Alkaline chemistry delivers a flat discharge curve, so the lock electronics see consistent 6 V output throughout most of the 2450 mAh capacity. Self-discharge is low, allowing spares to stay viable in storage for extended periods. The single-use design means no charging circuitry, no heat from recharge cycles and no memory effect. Once exhausted the cell is replaced rather than cycled.
