Primary lithium cells for long-life devices

These ER18505 batteries use lithium thionyl chloride chemistry to deliver a nominal 3.6 volts and 3600 mAh capacity. They suit equipment that must run for years without maintenance such as utility meters, medical instruments, or remote telemetry units. The three-pack provides spares for multi-cell installations or future replacements.

3600 mAh capacity with wide temperature range

At a 1 mA load the cells hold 3.6 volts from minus 55 to plus 85 degrees Celsius. Open-circuit voltage measures 3.66 volts at 20 degrees Celsius. Self-discharge stays low when stored below 30 degrees Celsius, giving years of standby life. Capacity drops sharply under heavy continuous drain or if the voltage falls below the device cut-off point.

Supplied as three loose cells with solder tabs

Each unit measures 18.5 mm diameter by 50.5 mm height and weighs 28 grams. Tabs allow direct PCB attachment but soldering must finish in seconds to avoid heat damage. The cells are primary only; recharging is unsafe. Do not mix with other models in series and discard any cell with a damaged casing.
