Eight paper-wrapped Sub-C NiCd cells with solder tabs, 22 mm diameter

DUSLAN

DUSLAN Sub C 2200 mAh NiCd Paper Wrapped Batteries with Tabs 8-Pack

SKU CH-KK4T-S7757

Eight 1.2 V Sub-C NiCd cells with solder tabs, 2200 mAh each, rated for 500 recharge cycles

  • 8-pack supplies 2200 mAh capacity per cell for extended run time
  • NiCd chemistry delivers reliable high-discharge current for demanding tools
  • Pre-welded tabs on both ends enable quick series pack assembly
  • Paper-wrapped sleeve insulates cells while keeping diameter at 22 mm
  • Rated for up to 500 recharge cycles for long service life

8-Pack Sub C NiCd Cells

This pack contains eight Sub C nickel-cadmium cells, each rated at 2200 mAh and 1.2 volts. They feature solder tabs on both ends and a paper-wrapped sleeve. The cells suit builders repairing or assembling cordless tool packs, emergency lighting or RC receiver packs.

Sustained High-Discharge Behaviour

The chemistry is rated for good high-discharge capability, so voltage holds steadier under continuous load than under brief pulses. Rated cycle life reaches 500 recharges when charge parameters are followed. Performance degrades if cells are regularly deep-discharged or charged at excessive current.

Sub C Form-Factor Limits

Physical dimensions are 43 mm length by 22 mm diameter, so they will not fit compartments made for standard C alkaline cells. The paper sleeve offers minimal insulation compared with heat-shrink tubing. Tabbed terminals require soldering; they cannot be used in spring-contact holders designed for button-top cells.

Questions about this item

Do the 2200 mAh NiCd cells generate noticeable heat during extended high-discharge use?

Nickel-cadmium chemistry handles high discharge with minimal heat rise, and the paper-wrapped sleeve helps dissipate warmth during long sessions.

What equipment is needed to charge these 1.2 V tabbed Sub-C cells?

A charger designed for NiCd Sub-C sizes with tab contacts is required; standard C alkaline chargers will not fit the 22 mm diameter or tab terminals.

Will these 43 mm long Sub-C packs fit devices built for older 500-cycle NiCd sticks?

Yes, the 43 mm length and 22 mm diameter match legacy Sub-C dimensions, so they drop into existing battery holders without modification.
